According to the Consumer Price Index (CPI) August 2022 data announced by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), inflation increased by 80 percent annually. According to the estimates of Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, overnight hotel room accommodation prices increased by 170 percent.
Hotel prices in cities
The average hotel room prices in Turkey, sold by hotel companies this month, increased by 170 percent to 861 TL.
Antalya hotel price increased by 110 percent on average and became 901 TL. In this month, Istanbul hotel prices increased by 201 percent to 1088 TL. The nightly price in Izmir hotels increased by 106 percent annually to 867 TL. The nightly price in Muğla hotels also increased by 99 percent to 692 TL.
