Turkish airline passenger traffic in 8 months of 2022

According to the data of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), the total number of international and domestic passenger traffic at Turkey’s airports in the January-August period of 2022 increased to 118.3 million. In the 8-month period of 2019, the outbound-inbound passenger traffic at Turkey’s airports was around 140 million.

Number of domestic and international passengers

During this period, 66.1 million passengers were served on international lines at the airports. In 2019, 72.2 million people were served. 52.1 million passengers were served on domestic routes as well. In 2019, 67.7 million people were served.
