Turkey’s tourism revenue in 2022 surpassed 2019
According to the information obtained by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the Balance of Payments August 2022 data announced by the CBRT, Turkey’s tourism income has approached 22 billion dollars, exceeding 2019 by 14.6% in the 8-month period.
Revenues, which were $19.1 billion in 2019, were $11.1 billion in 2021. In the 8-month period of 2022, tourism income, which exceeded 21.9 billion dollars, exceeded 2019 by 2 billion dollars.
