Istanbul, one of the centers of city tourism, received the highest number of tourists from Germany in 2022, where it reached 443,000 with an increase of 191%. Iran, the second largest market, increased by 148% and Russia by 61.5%, crossing the 4000 thousand border. England and France, which exceeded the 200 thousand band, followed them.
The only major market that contracted in Istanbul tourism was Ukraine with 23.8%.
