In the 4 months of 2022, the number of visitors to Antalya increased by 173% and exceeded 1.21 million. In the same period last year, around 445 thousand visitors came. While the number of foreign tourists increased from 423 thousand to 1.11 million, the number of citizen visitors increased from 21 thousand to 106 thousand.
During this period, the most tourists came to Antalya from Germany with an increase of 979%. The Russian market, which is at war with Ukraine, shrank by 51% and fell to 143 thousand. The UK market, with more than 150 thousand, took the second place.
The Netherlands and Poland were among the 5 countries that received the most tourists. The Netherlands, in particular, grew rapidly. On the other hand, Israel, Denmark, Norway, Finland and France markets also showed high rates of development.
