The number of hotel beds in hotels with Operation License and Municipality License in Turkey reached 1.82 million at the beginning of July 2022. When the hotels in the investment stage in Turkey are added, the total number of beds has reached 2 million and six thousand.

According to the calculation made by Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the Facilities Statistics of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Antalya ranked first with a total of 638 thousand beds. There were around 601 thousand facility beds in Antalya last year. Following Antalya, the total number of hotel beds in Istanbul approached 274,000. Last year, there were around 212 thousand hotel beds in the province.
On the other hand, the number of beds in Muğla, which exceeds 224 thousand, had about 175 thousand hotel beds last year. In recent years, there has been a revival in hotel constructions and renovations in Muğla.
While the number of hotel beds in İzmir has increased from 52 thousand to 74 thousand in the last year, the number of beds in Aydın has exceeded 53 thousand from 41 thousand.
2022 yılı Temmuz ayında Türkiye’de Otel Yatağı Sayısı
Türkiye’de İşletme Belgeli ve Belediye Belgeli otellerde bulunan otel yatağı sayısı, 2022 yılı temmuz başında 1,82milyon adede ulaştı. Türkiye’de yatırım aşamasında olan oteller de eklendiğinde toplam yatak sayısı 2 milyon altı bin oldu. Turizm istatistik merkezi Turizm Databank’ın Turizmdatabank’ın, Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı Tesis İstatistiklerinden yaptığı hesaplamaya göre Antalya, toplamda ulaştığı 638 bin yatakla ilk sırada yer aldı. Antalya’da geçen yıl 601 bin dolayında tesis yatağı vardı. Antalya’yı izleyen İstanbul’daki toplam otel yatağı sayısı da 274 bine yaklaştı. Geçen yıl ilde 212 bin dolayında otel yatağı vardı. Diğer yandan yatak sayısında 224 bini aşan Muğla ilinde geçen yıl 175 bin dolayında otel yatağı bulunuyordu. Muğla’da son yıllarda otel inşaatlarında ve yenilemelerde canlanma var. İzmir’de otel yatağı sayısı son bir yılda 52 binden 74 bin dolayına gelirken, Aydın’daki yatak sayısı da 41 binden 53 bin adedi geçti.
