According to the calculation made by Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the Facility Statistics updated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of hotel beds in hotels with Operation License in Turkey was 1.75 million in March 2023. When the hotels that are in the investment stage are added, the total number of beds is 1.9 million.
Number of hotel beds in provinces
During this period, the hotel bed in Antalya destination approached 607,000. The total number of hotel beds in Istanbul has exceeded 238,000. On the other hand, Muğla, which exceeded 214,000 in the number of beds, was followed by İzmir with 77 thousand and Aydın with 55 thousand.
