Number of tourists in Istanbul
In the four-month period of 2022, the number of tourists visiting Istanbul increased by 135%, reaching 3.88 million from 1.65 million. Iran ranked first in the number of foreign tourists with an increase of 132%, followed by Germany with an increase of 190%. Russia followed with an increase of 31.5%. England, France and the USA followed.

The number of tourists coming to Istanbul exceeded the 9 million band in 2021 with an increase of 80%. First place in 2021; Germany, Iran, Russia, France and Iraq had taken it.
