In the January-August period, Istanbul was the most populated destination among European cities with 74.4% in average occupancy of 3, 4 and 5-star hotels. According to GBR estimates, Istanbul was followed by Barcelona, Paris and London.

On the other hand, Paris took the lead with 292 Euros and London 207 Euros in average prices, while Istanbul took the last place with 132 Euros. Istanbul could not enter the top 5 in revenues per salable room.
