Hotel Occupancy Achieved 2019 in Turkey in May 2022
According to the statistics compiled by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the data of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the hotel occupancy rate in Turkey, which was around 55 percent in May 2019. In 2022, it was 52 percent. Occupancy rates surpassed the 2019 level, first in small-scale and economical facilities. In large-scale facilities, the 2019 level could not be achieved. Especially in 5-star hotels and holiday villages, occupancy rates remained low between 5 and 10 percent.
