Turkey hotel occupancy in 2022
The occupancy rate in Turkish hotels increased from 16.12% to 38.88% in March 2022.
According to the data compiled by Turizmdatabank.com from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism accommodation statistics, the occupancy rates in 5-star hotels increased to 36.82% and in 4-star hotels to 45.89%. Occupancy rates were 23% in first-class holiday villages and 30.79% in Thermal 5-star facilities.
Occupancy in provinces: Istanbul is the top
Occupancy rates in touristic cities also continued to rise: Occupancy rates in Antalya increased to 35.10%, and in İstanbol to 64.0%. On the other hand, rates reached; 23% in Aydın and 37.7% in İzmir. The rate increased to 12% in Muğla.
