Especially in eastern regions, where foreign inflows from the borders are increasing, constructions have started to rise. In fact, while the licenses obtained for hotel constructions were 7 in the January-March period last year, this number increased to 110 in 2022.
Which provinces are leading in hotel construction?
According to TUIK data compiled by Turizmdatabank; In the first three months of 2022, the licenses obtained for hotel construction throughout Turkey increased by 210 to 465, while Muğla province leads the way with 184 permits. It was followed by Muş and Kars with 25 constructions each, while Antalya was among the top 5 cities with 22 constructions and İzmir with 18 constructions.
