According to the calculation made by Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the Facility Statistics updated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of hotel beds in hotels with Operation and Municipality Certificate in Turkey reached 2.33 million in 2022. When the hotels that are in the investment stage are added, the total number of beds reached 2.48 million.
Number of hotel beds in provinces
During this period, the number of hotel beds active in Antalya destination exceeded 420 thousand. The total number of hotel beds in Istanbul has exceeded 340 thousand. On the other hand, Muğla is followed by İzmir with 98 thousand, with the number of beds exceeding 316 thousand. Balıkesir has 82 thousand beds and Aydın 72 thousand beds in front of Ankara. There are 46 thousand beds in Ankara.
