According to the data compiled by Turizmdatabank, in the January-November period of 2022, the number of tourists arriving in Turkey by cruise ships exceeded 996 thousand and approached 1 million.
283 thousand tourists came in 2019 and 1.8 million tourists in 2015.
Turkey received the highest number of tourists in this market in 2013. In the January-November period of 2013, 2.2 million tourists came to Turkey by cruise ships.
Tourist by port
Among the ports visited by tourists in 11 months, Kuşadası ranks first with 487 thousand, followed by Istanbul with 247 thousand. They were followed by Bodrum, İzmir, Antalya and Çeşme.
