According to the data of the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), the total number of international and domestic passenger traffic at Turkey’s airports in the January-March period of 2023 reached 38.9 million. In 2022 it was 29.5 million.
Air passenger traffic in tourism centers
While passenger traffic in Istanbul, one of the tourism centers, was 17.1 million on international flights, it approached 1.6 million in Antalya. Muğla Dalaman and Milas-Bodrum followed Adnan Menderes, which exceeded 436 thousand passengers, with 63,2 thousand passengers.
