According to the data on hotel investments in Turkey announced by Turizmdatabank, 91 hotels with a budget of 6.9 billion TL will be built in the 5-month period of 2022. 9.5 thousand beds will be made in the new hotels.
Turkey allocated a budget of 3.8 billion TL to 54 new hotels
According to the hotel investments data compiled by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the data announced by the Ministry of Industry and Technology, new hotels with a budget of 3.8 billion TL will be built with 54 of the investment projects of the sector. 37 facilities will be renewed with 3.0 billion TL.
Investment budgets allocated to hotels in Turkey
According to the 5-month data for 2022, 1.25 billion TL was allocated for 6 new 5-star hotels. On the other hand, in the new hotel budgets, 341 million TL was allocated for 14 4-star hotels and 341 million TL for 18 3-star hotels. (2021: 160 million TL and 3 hotels)
In the new hotel budgets, 1.87 billion TL was allocated for 10 4-star hotels and 318 million TL was allocated for 20 3-star hotels. In this period, the centers where new hotels are gathered; Muğla, Antalya, Çanakkale, İstanbul, Muğla and İzmir.
How many hotel beds will be refurbished?
In the hotel investments planned for the January-May period of 2022, 37 hotels will be renovated, while 24.4 thousand beds will be renewed with a budget of 3.0 million TL. With these activities, 347 people will find employment. 2744 people will find jobs in the new hotels.

Turizmdatabank’ın açıkladığı Türkiye otel yatırımları verilerine göre, 2022 yılının 5 aylık döneminde 6,9 milyar TL bütçeli 91 adet otel yapılacak. Yeni otellerde 9,5 bin yatak yapılacak.

Bu faaliyetlerle 347 kişi iş bulacak. Yeni otellerde ise 2744 kişi iş bulacak.
