According to the calculation made by Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the Facility Statistics updated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the number of Operation Licensed hotel beds (including simple facilities) in in Turkey was 1.74 million in February 2023. With in the investment stage the total number of beds is 1.9 million.
Number of hotel beds in provinces
During this period, the number of hotel beds in Antalya destination exceeded 604 thousand. The total number of hotel beds in Istanbul has exceeded 237,000. On the other hand, Muğla is followed by İzmir with 77,000 beds, which exceeds 213,000 beds.
