Foreign Direct Investments in Tourism

According to the information obtained by the Tourism Databank, the tourism statistics center, from the CBRT data, the volume of direct investments made in Accommodation and Food Service Activities at home and abroad reached $263 million in 8 months of 2022.
While the volume of foreign direct investment was 206 million dollars in 8 months, it exceeded 19 million dollars in 2021.
The volume of direct investment from Turkey abroad has also increased to 57 million dollars. In 2021 it was $39 million. In Accommodation and Food Service Activities, the volume of direct investment in domestic and abroad was 263 million dollars in 8 months of 2022.
